Today, our Head Instructor Raman took part in the Fingal Sports Awards ceremony, where he was recognised as Sports Volunteer of the Year. A well-deserved honour for his dedication on and off the mat.
Meanwhile, the rest of the club kept training. The evening at Ringsend Dojo began with our renewed kids’ class, as a new group started their Aikido journey from the very beginning.
Kids class focused on:
- Warm-up and core training
- Mae and ushiro ukemi
- Tai no henko
- Katatedori kokyuho
- Zagi kokyuho
Adult classes covered:
- Tai no henko
- Tai no henko, ki no nagare
- Mae and ushiro ukemi
- Morotedori kokyuho
- Katatedori kokyuho
- Katatedori shihonage
- Kosadori ikkyo, omote and ura
- Zagi kokyuho
