Today, we held our final Aikido practice at Beyond Jiu-Jitsu Academy on Hampton Street, closing a 3.5-year-long chapter in our dojo’s history. While we say goodbye to this space, our Aikido spirit remains strong as we move forward to a new location next week—stay tuned for updates! For our last class here, we focused on the review of Osae Waza techniques, honouring the space that hosted us for so long: Tai no Henko Tai no Henko Ki no Nagare Morotedori Kokyuho Katatedori Ikkyo Omote & Ura Katatedori Nikyo Omote & Ura Katatedori Sankyo Omote & Ura Katatedori Yonkyo Omote & Ura Zagi Kokyuho The two pictures below capture a special moment—one from our very first practice here and the other from today, our last. Today in Ringsend Dojo we continued to study Osae Waza (immobilisation techniques), exploring smooth transitions and precise applications: Tai no Henko  Tai no Henko Ki no Nagare Morotedori Kokyuho Shomen Uchi Sankyo Ura Shomen Uchi Yonkyo Omote Shomen Uchi Yonkyo Ura We ended the studying basic Osae Waza techniques by linking them seamlessly, flowing through: Nikyo → Sankyo Omote → Sankyo Ura → Yonkyo Omote → Yonkyo Ura We closed the session by  Zagi Kokyuho Join Us!
