Ringsend Dojo. 8 December 2025
Today in Ringsend Dojo, we welcomed Jan returning from Japan. He came back after a month of hard training in Iwama, happy and excited.
Today's practice was built on Saturday's exercises:
- Tai no Henko
- Tai no Henko Ki no Nagare
- Morotedori Kokyuho
- Katatedori Shihonage Omote & Ura
- Ryotedori Shihonage Omote & Ura
- Yokomen Uchi Shihonage Omote (30 degrees after crossing the line of attack)
- Yokomen Uchi Shihonage Omote (30 degrees without crossing the line of attack)
- Yokomen Uchi Shihonage Omote (30 degrees after crossing the line of attack)
- Yokomen Uchi Shihonage Omote (90 degrees without crossing the line of attack)
- Zagi Kokyho Kihon
- Zagi Kokyuho Grab from below
After class, we had a short cupcake party to celebrate Jan's return to Dublin.
