Balbriggan Dojo. 20 December 2025

Today marked the final practice of 2026 at our Balbriggan Dojo. We were pleased to present certificates to the students who successfully passed their tests last week, and to welcome a newcomer onto the mats.

As always, the class began with our foundational exercises:
• Tai no Henko
• Tai no Henko Ki no Nagare
• Morotedori Kokyuho

After this, the class divided into beginner and advanced groups.

The beginners focused on Kosadori techniques:
• Kosadori Ikkyo Omote
• Kosadori Kotegaeshi
• Kosadori Shihonage Omote

The advanced group worked on Ushiro Katate Eridori:
• Ushiro Eridori Katate Sankyo
• Ushiro Eridori Katate Jujinage
• Ushiro Eridori Katate Kokyunage

We concluded the tai jutsu practice with Zagi Kokyuho.

Bukiwaza was a beginner-friendly session, concentrating on fundamentals:
• Ken no Kamae
• Shiboru Undo
• Suburi 1–3
