Ringsend Dojo. 30 April 2025

Today was a warm and sunny day — too beautiful to stay indoors — so we made the most of it by training in Ringsend Park before our main evening class.

We practised the first ten Jo Suburi:

Tsuki no Bu:
• Chokuzuki
• Kaeshizuki
• Ushirozuki
• Tsuki Gedan Gaeshi
• Tsuki Jodan Gaeshi

Men Uchi no Bu:
• Shomen Uchi Komi
• Renzoku Uchi Komi
• Men Uchi Gedan Gaeshi
• Men Uchi Ushirozuki
• Gyaku Yokomen Ushirozuki

Later in the dojo at Ringsend & Irishtown Community Centre, we were delighted to welcome back Monday’s newcomer, who is now part of our dojo community. We focused on reinforcing foundational techniques:

• Tai no Henko
• Tai no Henko Ki no Nagare
• Katatedori Kokyuho
• Kosadori Ikkyo Omote
• Kosadori Kotegaeshi
• Zagi Kokyuho
