Today, despite the tiredness lingering from an intense Aikido weekend, we kept our momentum and held our regular Monday classes as scheduled.

Kids class was focused on Mae ukemi practice. After warming up and core strength exercises, we did basic front rolls, followed by dynamic rolls from trips and tobi (jumping) ukemi. Then we reinforced them in techniques:

  • Tai no Henko
  • Morotedori Kokyuho
  • Katatedori Kaitenage Uchi
  • Katatedori Kaitenage Soto
  • Katatedori Ikkyo
  • Zagi Kokyuho

The adult class covered the following:

  • Tai no Henko
  • Tai no Henko Ki no Nagare
  • Morotedori Kokyuho
  • Kosadori Kotegaeshi
  • Ryotedori Kotegaeshi
  • Ryotedori Tenchinage
  • Ryotedori Koshinage (without head insertion)
  • Zagi Kokyuho
