We dedicated our session to refining mae ukemi (forward breakfall) skills in Tai Jutsu (empty-hand techniques) and learned the basics of Jo during the Bukiwaza (weapons techniques) session.

Tai Jutsu:

After the main class, we took our jo practice outside, focusing on the first 10 of the 20 suburi (jo swinging exercises):
