Balbriggan Dojo. 6 October 2024

Today after the long break we welcomed Sean on the mats. To help ease him back into training, we had a relaxed session to brush off the rust and revisit fundamental techniques. It was great to have him back on the mats, and we made sure the practice supported a smooth reintroduction.

Here’s what we covered during the session:

  • Tai no Henko
  • Tai no Henko Ki no Nagare
  • Morotedori Kokyuho
  • Katatedori Shihonage Omote
  • Katedori Kokyunage (from Shihonage entrance)
  • Katatedori Kotegaeshi
  • Zagi Kokyuho

We kept things simple yet effective, reinforcing the importance of proper form and connection. Welcome back, Sean!

Our classes at Balbriggan Dojo offer a great opportunity to dive deeper into Aikido’s techniques. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, you’ll find something to challenge and inspire you.
