 Today we were only two with Y. in Ringsend dojo.

As it was the first day of the month, we practised only bukiwaza. 

The techniques covered:

  • 31 no jo kata
  • 31 no jo awase
  • movements 1 - 3 step-by-step & awase
  • movements 4 - 6 step-by-step & awase
  • movements 1 - 6 awase

Today we had our first practice in the Orwell Hall of Christ Church Rathgar. Once a month we'll do bukiwaza there. This time we did Aiki-ken and covered the very basic movements. Today the weather permitted us to organise the bukiwaza workshop planned since early July. Unfortunately, many people who were interested could not make it today, but with the smaller number of attendees, we could get a more individual approach. Part I.
