Today in the Balbriggan dojo we focused on basic exercise.

  • Tai Sabaki:
    • Migi Hanmi
    • Hidari Hanmi
    • Irimi
    • Tenkan
    • Irimi-Tenkan
    • Mae Shikko (walking on the knees forward)
  • Uchi Kata:
    • Shomen Uchi (front hand) - frontal strike
    • Shomen Uchi (back hand)
    • Yokomen Uchi - sideway strike
    • Chudan Tsuki - thrust to the chest
  • Ukemi Kata:
    • Mae Ukemi
    • Yoko Ukemi
  • Tai Jutsu:
    • Tai no Henko
    • Tai no Henko Ki no Nagare
    • Morotedori Kokyuhou
    • Suzariwaza Shomen Uchi Ikkyo Omote
    • Tachiwaza Shomen Uchi Ikkyo Omote & Ura
    • Zagi Kokyuho
