Today at Balbriggan Dojo, we were thrilled to host a travel aikidoka visiting us from Sweden during his business trip to Ireland, and a newcomer who stepped onto the mat for the very first time. The mix of advanced, first-time visitors and our regular members (slightly fewer number than usual due to cancelled trains from Dublin) created an exciting atmosphere for practice. Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming a special guest to the mats in Ringsend. Lars Hynsjö Sensei, a senior student and ambassador of Ulf Evenås Shihan, visited Dublin and taught a Ken Tai Jo class for our members. We began training outdoors in Ringsend Park before continuing at the Ringsend & Irishtown Community Centre.
